We are a group of young entrepreneurs and professionals who believe that it is inevitable for Türkiye to realize the National Technology Initiative in order to raise its voice for a better world and to be one of developed societies in terms of economy and life quality.
Refik Söylemez completed his primary and secondary education in Izmir. He graduated from Anadolu Vocational High School in 2010 with a degree in Information Technologies. In 2012, he completed an associate's degree in Computer Programming at Dokuz Eylül University, a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Marmara University in 2013, and simultaneously, a bachelor's degree in Business Management at Anadolu University. In 2020, he completed a master's in Computer Engineering at Istanbul Commerce University and published a thesis and articles in the field of artificial intelligence in 2023.
Söylemez began his career during high school by working on computer software and hardware services, and continued his career as an IT Unit Manager and Software Architect in engineering companies.
He has been involved in numerous social responsibility projects with the aim of spreading innovation and entrepreneurship culture across all segments of society, implementing business ethics, and technology and science culture at a practical level. He joined the Turkey Technology Team Foundation as a volunteer in 2017 and took part in the Foundation’s computing and technology projects.
In 2020, he joined Baykar Technology as the team leader in Smart Web Systems. He also continues to serve as the computing coordinator for the T3 Foundation and has been working as a Program Manager in the "T3 Ai" project, initiated in 2023 to develop Türkiye's large language model. In 2024, he became a member of the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation.
He is married and a father of two children.
